HousingU Pathway: Operations

Welcome to the Housing Sector! 2024

Self-Directed Module

The non-profit housing sector is a dynamic and rewarding field to work in, with a wide range of career paths to pursue your professional goals. And with the sector expanding throughout the province, there are many new job opportunities to explore. To support people beginning their housing sector careers, we’ve created the Welcome to the Housing Sector! course.

Development of this course was generously funded by a SPARC BC – Homelessness Community Action Grant.

  • Online, self-directed module
  • Participants have 30 days to complete upon registration

Having taken many webinars and courses from many different organizations in the last two decades I was very impressed with the up-to-date information and videos in this module. I did not expect such high quality if I was to speak honestly. – 2023 participant

This module is a fantastic tool to easily understand the big picture of the non-profit housing sector. It is well-balanced and dynamic with engaging content. Having the chance to move forward at your own pace is very helpful. As a person who is new to this sector, I definitely recommend it.  Thank you to the BCNPHA team for creating such a great course! – Gaby Ortiz, Marketing and Communications Coordinator
