- define the different levels of retrofits – simple, complex, and deep energy
- consider factors to help you assess if you are ready to undertake a retrofit
- determine what’s involved in managing a retrofit project
- help make an informed decision about enhancing your housing projects by exploring common retrofits that improve building efficiency and sustainability
Throughout the self-directed resource, you’ll read or watch content and apply your learning to your own situation.
Time commitment
This resource includes approximately 3 hours of content. It is self-directed, meaning you can progress at your own pace. Registration is continuous throughout the year. After registering, you will have access to the course at any time up until December 31 of each year. Prerequisites
This is an online resource and participants must have basic computer skills with regular access to a computer with MS Office 2010 or later and a modern, safe browser. We recommend Chrome, however any updated browser will work. Templates used in this course may require MS Excel, MS Word and .pdf reader. This course is provided in English and requires reading and writing at a grade 8 level.
