Ready, Set, Retrofit! | 2025

January 13 to December 31, 2025

Ready, Set, Retrofit! provides an overview of the value of retrofitting non-profit housing buildings in BC. In this brand-new online resource, participants will gain a basic understanding of what a retrofit entails, key reasons to consider retrofits, as well as the positive impacts of retrofits on tenants, the environment and building service life. This resource will also help participants to assess their readiness to undertake a retrofit. Whether you’re new to this topic or bring years of experience, Ready, Set, Retrofit! is designed to give you a solid foundation in understanding how to retrofit your building, and highlight why these projects can be so impactful for the community your society serves.

Through insights, practical tools and supporting resources, this resource will help you address:

  • What exactly does it mean to retrofit?
  • How do I determine of a retrofit is right for our building?
