We are driven by the needs of our members. They guide BCNPHA’s research, resulting in knowledge that supports the work of non-profit housing providers and influences public policy furthering the cause of affordable housing.
Whether it’s the Canadian Rental Housing Index, Transit-Oriented Affordable Housing Study or the Affordable Housing Plan for BC, our contributions have influenced public policy provincially and federally. We work closely with our Housing Central partners and mission-aligned organizations across the housing sector to explore the issues and challenges facing communities throughout BC.
The results shape decision-making that leads to measurable change in the availability of affordable housing, and helps non-profit housing providers deliver more housing and more programs and services within their communities.
