Harm Reduction | 2025
Understand the practices and policies that relate to substance use.
RegisterImagine arriving in BC with few resources, after having fled from danger and persecution. Then you begin to look for safe and affordable housing, a place from which you can start to settle. For many, non-profit housing is their best and only option. Through this roundtable:
• Gain a better understanding of the challenges that claimants face in finding housing, especially trauma and systemic discrimination.
• Hear from refugees’ lived experience and learn from a successful placement.
• Gain a better understanding of the concerns of housing providers in relation to the precarious status of claimants.
