In-Person Event Health & Safety Guidelines

The health and safety of our event attendees and staff are important to us, and the BCNPHA team is dedicated to ensuring a great experience at our in-person events. We aim to create a safe, clean and hygienic environment for our delegates, speakers, vendors and exhibitors.

We continue to implement safe and hygienic measures for our in-person events through the following measures:

  • Masks are strongly recommended
  • Health and safety protocols
  • Safe food and beverages handling
  • Hand sanitation stations around venues
  • Sanitation and disinfection of common and high-traffic areas

We kindly ask that all in-person attendees, including speakers, exhibitors and vendors, adhere to the following guidelines:

Wear a Mask

All event participants are encouraged to wear face coverings or a non-medical mask when you are not eating or drinking. Wearing a mask helps prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses and ensures our events are accessible and inclusive for all, including those who are immunocompromised or face other health challenges.

Wash Your Hands Often

Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the event venue.

Stay Home If You Are Sick

If you have a temperature, are showing any potential symptoms of COVID-19, cold, flu, or other illness (such as fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath), have tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you do not attend the event. We will refund 100% of your registration fees upon request.

Please use the BC Covid-19 Self-Assessment Tool to assess your symptoms and if you don’t feel well, consider the health and safety of fellow delegates and please stay home.
