The events industry has forever changed in a world affected by COVID-19. The health and safety of our attendees and staff is our highest priority. The BCNPHA team is dedicated to ensuring a great experience at our in-person events, and that includes providing a safe, clean and hygienic environment for our delegates, speakers, vendors and exhibitors.
Some of the key areas in which we have implemented safe and hygienic measures for our in-person events include:
We kindly ask that all in-person attendees, including speakers, exhibitors and vendors, adhere to the safety procedures and guidelines below:
All event participants will be required to wear face coverings or a non-medical mask when in any common public spaces of the event space; this includes, but may not be limited to, the lobby, foyers, session rooms, washrooms and parking facility. Individuals who do not wish to comply will be asked to leave the premises.
All event attendees are required to be fully vaccinated before attending the event.
Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the event venue. These stations will include signs reminding event participants to wash or sanitize their hands before touching self-serve food and drinks or other items.
If you have a temperature, are showing any potential symptoms of COVID-19 (such as fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath), have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event then we request that you do not attend the event. We will refund 100% of your registration fees upon request.
Please use the BC Covid-19 Self-Assessment Tool to assess your symptoms and if you don’t feel well, consider the health and safety of fellow delegates and please stay home.
