Housing Central is supporting the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association joint federal election campaign, in partnership with the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, Habitat for Humanity Canada and the Canadian Real Estate Association. How can you get involved? Get informed by reading the Housing Canada Plan, which outlines federal actions needed to address the housing crisis. And use the campaign Toolkit to engage with your candidates and push for community housing commitments. Together, we are advocating for real solutions to Canada’s housing crisis.

BCNPHA, the Co-operative Housing Federation of BC and the Aboriginal Housing Management Association jointly launched a campaign to support action on affordable housing. The campaign included a new online public portal providing critical housing needs information for every community across the province. It also included a housing pledge, committing candidates to address crucial affordable housing needs in their communities.

BCNPHA together with the Co-operative Housing Federation of BC and the Aboriginal Housing Management Association, have joined the Vote Housing campaign, a national, non-partisan effort to end homelessness and make housing safe and affordable across the country. The campaign is mobilizing Canadians to ensure all political parties leave behind decades of public policy choices that have entrenched homelessness and housing need in our communities – and make bold new commitments to affordable housing.
