On September 30, we commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day). Let’s honor the children who never returned from residential schools, along with the Survivors, their families, and communities. BCNPHA will close its office on September 30 in recognition of this important day.
As an organization dedicated to advocacy and education, BCNPHA is committed to reconciliation. We encourage our staff and everyone else to participate in a local event on September 30, wear orange, or engage in personal learning and reflection.
If you are a Survivor and need assistance, the National Indian Residential School Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1–866-925-4419.
