Call for Expression of Interest for Nomination to BCNPHA Board of Directors 2026

The BCNPHA Board is seeking individuals with a strong commitment to non-profit housing in BC to join the BCNPHA Board of Directors. Please find attached the 2026 nominations package for the BCNPHA Board of Directors.

Members of the Board of Directors are responsible for providing overall direction to BCNPHA, including review and approval of the Association’s strategic objectives and policies. The Board is supported by BCNPHA’s Chief Executive Officer and staff. Candidates will be elected by members of the BCNPHA at the Virtual AGM to be held in November 2026 (exact date to be announced).

This year, BCNPHA is seeking nominees to fill 3 Board positions:

• Director – Interior BC Region ( 3-year term)
• Director – Northern BC Region (3-year term)
• Director – Vancouver Island Region ( 3-year term)

Any person who is an Executive Director, Board Director or Senior Manager of a BCNPHA voting member in good standing may stand for election (only one person per agency may serve on the BCNPHA Board). Only voting members in good standing can nominate individuals to the Board. Voting membership consists of non‐profit housing provider members.

Nominees must complete the nomination process outlined in the attached document. The package includes a form and a diversity matrix. Both the completed form and diversity matrix must be received at BCNPHA by September 25, 2026. Completed nomination packages should be forwarded to admin@bcnpha.ca.

Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the AGM.
