BCNPHA membership opens the door to education, networking and financial savings that support your organization and strengthen the sector.
Members have access to a full suite of Member Programs, asset management services, resource guides and policies, and discounted rates on the sector’s must-attend events.
BCNPHA has two categories of membership: Non-Profit Housing Provider and Associate Member.
Non-Profit Housing Provider members are categorized by the number of units operated in BC, and all have voting privileges at the annual general meeting.
Associate Members are non-voting members, and include non-profit housing providers in the process of developing units, non-profit organizations (excluding housing providers in BC), commercial (for profit) and government.

Non-profit societies that do not yet operate housing but have units under development. Financing and/or funding are in place for the development, and the society intends to manage/operate the units post-development.
Non-profit or charitable organizations that do not operate housing units in BC, but that support BCNPHA’s vision, mission and strategic objectives. This includes organizations that intend to develop housing in the future, but do not currently own/operate housing.
For-profit organizations that support BCNPHA’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
Municipal, provincial, federal governments and affiliated crown corporations that support BCNPHA’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.

Thank you for your interest in BCNPHA membership! All fees include 5% GST and are for the 2024-2025 membership year. Please note that BCNPHA prorates membership fees for non-profit housing societies with units only.
Membership fees are approved as operating expenses by BC Housing, as well as staff development (education and training), and Housing Central Conference registration fees and expenses.
