Fortis BC’s Gas Absorption, Heat Pumps and Dual-Fuel Rooftop Units

FortisBC’s Social Housing Retrofit Support Program (SHRSP) offers funding and incentives to charities and non-profit housing providers for energy-efficient upgrades to reduce GHGs and lower energy costs. The program includes energy studies, implementation support, and rebates for high-efficiency natural gas and electric upgrades (where available). This session covers SHRSP and the current offers for gas absorption heat pumps and dual fuel rooftop units. Learn how these appliances work, what the upgrades entail, and the financial supports available from studying feasibility through implementation support and installation.
