This interactive workshop is facilitated by the Indigenous Perspectives Society – a charitable and not-for-profit social enterprise that offers training programs and services that help foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives, cultural differences, and the need for self determination.
Together, in this workshop, participants will explore how to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action that pertain to the Housing Sector, and how to make housing accessible to Indigenous Peoples and their families. Participants will learn strategies to remove barriers for safe and affordable housing for Indigenous People, as well as explore actionable and effective techniques for best practices to strengthen secure housing.
