Energize Vancouver
Energize Vancouver is a multi-year initiative aimed at reducing carbon pollution from existing commercial and multi-family buildings, transitioning them to become more climate-friendly.
In support of this initiative, the City’s Annual Greenhouse Gas and Energy Limits By-law mandates that building owners and managers report their energy use and GHG emissions.
This webinar will provide an overview of the regulation and the types of buildings covered by the By-law.
Attendees will receive a walkthrough of the two-part reporting process using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) and the City’s Building Performance Reporting System (BPRS), along with resources available for by-law compliance.
BCNPHA’s Energy Analyst will also share information on how affected non-profits will be supported with their reporting through the association’s Benchmarking service.
