Climate change models predict that by 2050, very hot days (above 30°C) may occur across Canada 4 times as frequently as they do today.
Climate impacts like extreme heat and poor air quality from wildfires will worsen existing inequities, and those that are most vulnerable will be at greater risk. Join us to hear about the health risks of extreme heat and air pollution from wildfire smoke and strategies targeting the needs of those most at risk. This session will help non-profit housing providers can do to build resilience plans for tenants to extreme and wildfire smoke.
