This year’s award recognizes a non-profit housing provider demonstrating commitment to innovation across services and/or new housing developments.
How to get nominated.
The organization must be a BCNPHA non-profit housing member in good standing. The committee will notify the recipient by September 2025.
How does an organization qualify?
Applications will be scored in the following areas:
A demonstrated organizational commitment to exploring new ways to deliver affordable housing across British Columbia.
Evidence of innovation in residential service, partnerships, and new building design or construction.
Two letters of support from outside the nominated non-profit housing society.
We have a responsibility to make this Earth better for future generations. This is a testament to the staff and the work they do, every day.

How it works.
BCNPHA members who are non-profit housing providers may nominate their — or another — organization. The Awards Committee will review nominees throughout the year.
Deadline for applications is May 16, 2025.
Recipients of the Housing Provider of the Year Award are societies making exceptional contributions to the affordable housing sector.
