Position: Program Manager, permanent position
Hours of Work: Part-time: 24 hours/wk to start with planned growth to 30 hrs over next 2 years
Worksite: Administrative Office
Status: Management
Salary: salaried position with benefits; $38/hr based on 24 hr work week

Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the management of the client service programs. This includes the development, coordination, administration and service delivery.

The Program Manager works with one full-time or part-time program staff in each program, who reports to them directly. The six program leads represent PEACE, Stopping the Violence, Outreach, Transition House, Cedars and Croftonbrook.

The Program Manager evaluates the programs on a regular basis to ensure quality service delivery and client/resident care that is in accordance with IWAV’s purposes, policies and standards and that they are effective in meeting clients needs.

Qualifications:
Education, training and experience
o Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, experience and education
o At least 5 years of experience working in client based social service programs
o Sound knowledge and understanding in the area of gender-based violence
o Proven ability to supervise staff and manage program budgets
o Personnel management experience within a union environment
o Must agree to a criminal records check
