News Release: BCNPHA Brings Education & Networking Event to Courtenay/Comox

VANCOUVER, BC (April 10, 2018) – BC Non-Profit Housing Association is pleased to announce we will be hosting our one-day Regional Education, Networking & Tradeshow (RENT) event in Courtenay on April 12, 2018 at the Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community.
The RENT events bring together a large number of housing stakeholders, educators, decision-makers, researchers and leaders to learn about the latest developments in the housing sector, deepen their professional knowledge and skills and make valuable connections with other members of the affordable housing sector. BCNPHA is expecting a full house for our April 12 event, which will include:
- Education sessions for everyone from housing leaders to frontline staff, such as – Developing Affordable Housing on the Gulf Islands, Housing Stability and Preventing Homelessness, Professional Boundaries for Front-line Staff, Dementia Friends and much more.
- Dedicated networking opportunities to connect with fellow housing providers and funders, and establish new partnerships
- Expansive tradeshow, featuring a wide range of businesses showcasing the latest products and services to raise the capacity of the non-profit housing sector
- Lunchtime plenary with local housing advocates and stakeholders to explore the issues, challenges and successes of our sector in the Comox Valley region. Come with your thoughts, ideas and questions for this engaging discussion!
