Celebrating Our Herstory, Our Future & 25 Years of CWWA
The BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH) invites you to submit a proposal to present a workshop at our Annual Training Forum, taking place October 25-27, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC.
This year’s theme is Celebrating Our Herstory, Our Future & 25 Years of CWWA and we look forward to receiving proposals for workshops that relate to this theme and to the issue of violence against women children and youth more broadly.
Our Annual Training Forum is host to over 200 anti-violence workers who support women, youth and children in a variety of capacities including front-line workers, Children Who Witness Abuse (CWWA) counsellors, managers and executive directors.
Please complete and return this form to us (email@example.com) by Monday, May 29th. You are welcome to attach any additional documentation that might provide us with more insight into your presentation style and content (i.e. resume, testimonials, evaluation comments, detailed workshop description, etc.)
Workshop sessions are 2 hours long. Remuneration is provided per workshop, and includes:
- $200 for each workshop
- 1 (one) Complementary conference registration for the day of your workshop (including coffee/lunch)
**Transportation, accommodation, and parking are the sole responsibility of the presenter
**Workshops that do not receive adequate registrations may be cancelled. In this instance, BCSTH will notify the presenters at least 1 week prior to the event.
**Workshops with multiple presenters will share remuneration
If you find yourself unable to attend at the time your session is scheduled, it is your responsibility to notify the conference planners of such a change as soon as possible and explore options for an alternative presenter.
