RainCity Housing and Support Society is seeking a human resources professional to join the human resources department. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Advisor is responsible for oversight of all processes relating to hiring, on-boarding, organization wide orientation and training, selection, performance management, progressive discipline and the grievances. This is a human resources generalist position providing guidance and collective agreement interpretation to managers and employees for the unionized workforce.
RainCity Housing is an independent non-profit operating in the both the housing and healthcare sectors. RainCity Housing is a member of the Health Employers Association of BC, with three collective agreements covering approximately 420 staff. RainCity Housing has a proud history of strong collaboration with and support for labor unions.
