An evening of celebration among neighbors that will provide an opportunity to reflect on our capacities to mobilize our Canadian spirit. Join in this interactive evening of stories from Canadians who have welcomed an individual who lived the refugee journey.
Hosts: Refugee family from Iraq-Kurdistan & Ken and Aisyah Pierce, Vancouver
They are hosting a conversational workshop with them to hear their experience of welcoming refugees. This dialogue will include practical steps towards welcoming as well as information on training and coaching to support healthy relationship building.
