Asset Management

BCNPHA offers asset management education in three topic areas, which form the foundation for the effective management of buildings.

Capital Planning

Our online Capital Planning course is provided free of charge. Capital Planning is also offered as a face-to-face workshop at our Regional Education, Networking and Tradeshow (RENT) events and our annual conference.

Energy Management

The asset management team provides training at local RENT events, the annual conference and through webinar. Energy management is also a major component of our online FOAM program.

Facilities Operations and Maintenance

BCNPHA has partnered with FortisBC and BC Housing to develop the Facilities Operations and Maintenance program. Courses are available online through HousingU. The content will be divided into small manageable pieces for individuals at all levels within non-profits to gain the knowledge, tools, and resources required to properly maintain and run the buildings they manage.
