Choosing the housing designation right for you
CIH Canada is offering two levels of designation for housing professionals in BC. If you’re new to the sector or aspire to work in housing management, the Certified Housing Professional program is for you. The program focuses on operations; course topics include the Housing System, Managing Buildings, Housing Management and Managing People and Organizations.
If you work in a management role, or if you’ve graduated from the Certified Housing Professional program, consider CIH Canada’s Chartered Housing Professional program. It focuses on strategic issues, preparing professionals for leadership roles. Courses include Housing Policy, Asset Management, Housing and Society, and Managing People and Organizational Strategy. CIH Canada, in partnership with BCNPHA, delivers both programs through an online learning platform called Moodle.
