In 2018, legislation regarding the use of Cannabis will come into effect, which will have implications on the day-to-day operations of non-profit housing providers. Bring your questions to this 1.5 hour webinar, facilitated by Grant Haddock, Lawyer, who will address issues such as: electricity consumption; drifting smoke; policy non-compliance; how to balance the rights of cannabis consumers with those of the landlord and other tenants… and much more!

Facilitator
Called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1992, Grant Haddock established Haddock & Company in 2001. Grant is a sought after and frequent speaker at education conferences and seminars hosted by housing industry leaders, such as the Cooperative Housing Federation of BC, the Condominium Homeowners Association, the Manufactured Home Park Owners Alliance of BC, the BC Non-Profit Housing Association and the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. Grant speaks on a variety of topics as they touch on non-profit housing, residential tenancy and strata property including human rights, construction and contracts, privacy and good practice management for boards, landlords and strata councils.
